Emomali Rahmon made personnel changes in the power structures of Tajikistan

On January 16, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, initiated a series of personnel reshuffles in key structures of the country, including the Ministry of Defense, Border Troops, the National Guard, as well as the Agency for State Financial Control and the Fight Against Corruption, and the Main Department for the Execution of Criminal Sentences of the Ministry of Justice. This was reported by the press service of the President of Tajikistan.

As a result of these changes, new personnel were appointed to the positions of First Deputy Head of the State Institution "Defense Assistance" of the Ministry of Defense, as well as to leadership positions in the central offices of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces. The changes also affected the Border Troops, the National Guard, the Agency for State Financial Control and the Fight Against Corruption, the Main Department for the Execution of Criminal Sentences of the Ministry of Justice, and the command of the power structures.

In addition, experienced specialists were appointed as military commissioners in cities and districts such as Mir Said Ali Hamadani, Dangara, Vakhsh, Abdurakhmoni Jami, Yavan, and Shahristan.

During his speech and discussion with those present, President Rahmon noted the readiness of the Armed Forces and military units, considering the current international situation, and outlined tasks for maintaining peace and stability in the country.

The main focus was on strengthening the protection of the state border to prevent violations, including cases of armed conflicts and the smuggling of weapons and drugs. The President also emphasized the need to enhance the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, study foreign languages, master modern combat technologies, regularly conduct exercises, including the use of remotely controlled equipment, and adhere to all laws and regulations.

Emomali Rahmon stressed the importance of building relationships between soldiers and leadership based on mutual respect and understanding, which contributes to strengthening trust, friendship, and support between military personnel and their command.

Additionally, instructions and recommendations were given for the performance of duties in the relevant structures, as reported by the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
