The opening ceremony took place online at the Ministry of Defense building, where President Emomali Rahmon and his son Rustam Emomali, who holds the position of Chairman of the Parliament of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, were present.
At the "Kharbmaydon" training ground, training facilities were created for the preparation of specialists, including a command-observation post with driving classes and observation towers.
Four new border outposts are located in the highlands, in challenging sections of the border with Afghanistan that previously lacked adequate protection. A new road over 70 kilometers long was built to ensure their operation, along with the necessary supporting infrastructure.
In the last three years, 80 new border outposts have been constructed in Tajikistan, equipped with vehicles and equipment, as well as barracks and other infrastructure, including residential houses for officers and their families.
