China publicly demanded that the 'Taliban' investigate the murder of its citizens following attacks on the Tajik border

Fu Gun also urged the Taliban and Tajik authorities to strengthen border control to prevent similar incidents in the future. He expressed Beijing's readiness to cooperate with neighboring countries to improve coordination and ensure stability in the region.

In the past month, there have been two attacks on Chinese workers in Tajikistan near the border with Afghanistan. The first occurred on the night of November 26, when a group of armed individuals attacked the base of employees of the 'Shokhin SM' company in the Shamsiddin Shokhin area, resulting in the deaths of three Chinese citizens.

The second attack took place on December 1 in the village of Shodaki in the Veshkharv jamoat of the Darvaz district, where two Chinese road workers were killed as a result of the attack.

Following these events, the Chinese embassy in Tajikistan strongly recommended its citizens leave the border areas.

Dushanbe blamed armed groups from Afghan territory for these attacks, and on December 1, Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with security officials, instructing them to take measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

Chinese ambassadors in Dushanbe and Kabul called on the authorities of Tajikistan and the 'Taliban' to ensure security and maintain bilateral relations.

The Taliban's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi held phone talks with his Tajik counterpart and expressed readiness to cooperate in investigating the incidents.

According to Afghan media, in connection with the murder of Chinese citizens in the border areas of Tajikistan, two suspects have been detained; however, no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for these crimes, and the results of the investigation remain unclear.
