
According to the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), on the night of November 20, border guards noticed a group of seven individuals in the Hamadoni area. At 22:50, a drone was launched, which successfully struck the violators.
On the morning of November 21, the bodies of two suspected smugglers were found at the scene of the incident, along with five bags containing 116 packages of drugs.
The agency emphasized that this operation was the first in which a drone created in Tajikistan was used in the practice of the country's border authorities.
The fate of the remaining five members of the group remains unknown — the report does not specify whether they were apprehended or managed to escape.
