At the UN Security Council meeting held on December 10 in New York, Fu Kung condemned the killings of Chinese citizens that occurred as a result of attacks from Afghan territory. He also urged both the "Taliban" and the authorities of Tajikistan to enhance border control. A video of his speech was published by Afghanistan International on social media platform X.

Additionally, Kung noted that China is ready to cooperate with neighboring countries to strengthen coordination mechanisms and ensure stability in the region.

According to information from Tajik authorities, as a result of two attacks that occurred on November 26 and 30, 5 Chinese workers were killed and another 5 were injured. These attacks were carried out in border areas of Tajikistan from Afghan territory.

On December 1, Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with leaders of law enforcement and security agencies, during which he "categorically condemned the illegal and provocative actions of Afghan citizens" at the border with Tajikistan. He instructed responsible officials to take necessary measures to strengthen border security and prevent similar incidents in the future.
