Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair was invited to visit Mongolia

A meeting took place in Davos between the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Zandanshatar Gombojav, and Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Zandanshatar Gombojav, who holds the position of Prime Minister of Mongolia, held talks with Tony Blair, who is the founder of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and previously led the UK government.


During the meeting, Zandanshatar Gombojav presented the government’s strategy and initiatives, as well as detailed the Mongolia Development Plan for 2026-2030. He also discussed how the government intends to use technology and artificial intelligence to diversify the economy and enhance its efficiency.


While discussing various issues, they exchanged views on strategic ties with the Tony Blair Institute, as well as preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, considering options for further cooperation.

The Prime Minister of Mongolia invited Tony Blair to participate in the Mongolian Economic Forum scheduled for June, as well as the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, which will take place in August.
