According to the TF1 television channel, the robbery occurred on the night of Friday, January 30, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Two assailants broke into the official's home early in the morning, attacked the sleeping owner, and inflicted a head injury. After that, they searched the premises and stole watches, brooches, and many other valuable items.
The victim himself called the police after the assailants left his home. He was hospitalized, but his life is not in danger. The damage from the theft amounts to between 6 and 7 million euros. Confidential information was not affected during the robbery.
