On February 8, a convoy of six trucks filled with food, warm clothing, tents, and waterproof film was successfully delivered to Gaza, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
According to the ministry, the trucks crossed the Rafah checkpoint on the border between Egypt and Palestine in the presence of the Tajik ambassador to Egypt and representatives of the country's charitable organizations.
Tajikistan continues to provide humanitarian and financial assistance to the population of Gaza from the very first days of the conflict in the region, the ministry's statement notes.
At a press conference on February 6, Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin announced the dispatch of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
He also reminded that in January 2025, Tajikistan, along with several other countries, sent aid to the residents of Gaza, including 200 tons of wheat flour.
The minister emphasized that Tajikistan's position on the situation in Gaza remains unchanged, and the country continues to consistently support efforts for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
