
In January, export deliveries increased by 71.6%, amounting to $1.7 billion, while imports, on the contrary, fell by 12.6% to $843 million.
The main factor behind the export growth was the increased volumes of copper, coal, gold in raw and partially processed forms, as well as canned meat shipped outside Mongolia.
