
As a result of these personnel changes, Vice Prime Ministers Mammetkhan Chakiyev, Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva, and Batyr Amanov lost their positions. The reasons for their resignations have not been disclosed. The vacant posts were filled by Batyr Annaev, who previously headed the "Turkmen Maritime and River Transport" agency, Batyr Mammedov, the former rector of the Turkmen State Architectural and Construction Institute, and Guvanch Agajanov, who previously led the State Concern "Turkmenneft".
Several heads of various ministries and departments also resigned.
Myrat Mammedov was relieved of his duties as Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan due to retirement. He was succeeded by Myratberdi Gayypov.
Charygeldi Babanyazov lost his position as Minister of Environmental Protection, replaced by Ovezgeldi Goshjanov.
Begmyrat Ataev was dismissed from his position as Chairman of the State Association of Food Industry of Turkmenistan, with Bayramdurdy Tejenov becoming his successor.
On February 14, the president signed a decree relieving Nazar Atagarayev from the position of Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan due to his transition to another job. The new head of the MNB became Dovletgeldi Meredov.
Additionally, the Ministry of Motor Roads was established based on the State Agency for the Management of Motor Road Construction, headed by Hangeldi Kerimov.
Ashyrguly Begliev also left his position as presidential advisor on oil and gas issues due to retirement.
Among other changes are the replacements of khyakims (heads of administrations) in the cities of Turkmenbashi, Turkmenabat, Mary, and in several districts.
