Mongolia revokes permits from six foreign NGOs

The Immigration Agency of Mongolia monitors the activities of foreign and international non-governmental organizations operating within the country. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.

As part of the oversight, the Agency decided to revoke the licenses for activities in Mongolia from six non-governmental organizations. This decision was made in accordance with the Regulation on the issuance, extension, and revocation of permits, as well as the supervision of the activities of branches and representative offices of international and foreign NGOs in Mongolia.

Specifically, the licenses were revoked from organizations such as Raphael International and the National Institute for Environmental Research/Monitoring, both from the Republic of Korea, as well as Global Care, Caritas Czech Republic from the Czech Republic, La Mission De Joie from the USA, and Silk Way Rally from Russia.

Currently, there are 70 branches and representative offices of international and foreign non-governmental organizations operating in Mongolia.
