During the briefing, Gankhuuyag Khassuur emphasized the need for local authorities to take necessary measures immediately in light of the changing situation. He noted that the government and the State Emergency Commission are obligated to ensure the stable and timely provision of medical services and other state resources for both livestock breeders and citizens. Additionally, he called for the activation of local efforts to reduce risks associated with harsh weather conditions and to mitigate their consequences.
With the onset of spring, the Deputy Prime Minister also instructed local authorities to promptly dispose of the carcasses of deceased livestock to prevent the spread of highly contagious diseases.
By the decision of the government and the State Emergency Commission, various resources have been allocated from the state reserve, including equipment, materials, and feed for livestock, which will be sent to medical centers of regions and districts, as well as to local emergency management departments. As part of this support, 20 highly mobile vehicles, two motor graders, and five loaders have been provided for areas where heavy snowfall has disrupted transportation. Furthermore, 796 tons of hay, 8,154 tons of feed, and 50 tons of fuel from the state reserve are being distributed. These measures are aimed at helping restore transportation links and alleviating transport and logistical issues in the most affected regions.
