In the Israeli cities of Arad and Dimona — over 170 injured as a result of missile strikes from Iran

As a result of the strike in Arad, where a missile hit a residential area, at least 115 people were injured. Among them, nine are in serious condition, 19 have moderate injuries, and 55 people have minor wounds. The most severe injuries were sustained by those who did not manage to reach the shelters. In Dimona, there was also a direct hit, resulting in at least 59 injuries. Among the injured is a 12-year-old boy who was wounded by shrapnel. His mother told the Kan broadcasting company that her son did not make it to the bomb shelter in time. The Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva provided assistance to 175 victims from Arad and Dimona. As of the morning of March 22, 36 people remained in the hospital, according to information from The Times of Israel. Iranian state media claim that the strikes were aimed at an Israeli nuclear research center located 10 kilometers from Dimona and 30 kilometers from Arad, in response to an attack on the nuclear facility in Natanz that occurred the day before. Recently, the U.S. struck a uranium enrichment facility in Natanz. In Iran, it is believed that this was done with the involvement of Israeli military forces; however, Israel denies any involvement in this attack. The Shimon Peres Nuclear Research Center, located near Dimona in the Negev Desert, plays a crucial role in Israel's nuclear program, the existence of which is neither officially confirmed nor denied by Jerusalem.
