Kairat Altynbekov, a 21-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan, tragically passed away as a result of a traffic accident in Indiana, USA. This information was published by Ainur Aipkhanova, the director of the oncology registry of the state government of Indiana, on her Instagram page.

According to available information, on the night of October 27, a Mercedes-Benz car collided with a concrete pole and caught fire in West Lafayette.

Ainur stated, "One person died at the scene, two guys were evacuated to one of the leading burn centers in the USA - the burn center at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. The car crashed into a concrete pole, resulting in a fire. One of them died immediately in the hospital, and the third, Kairat, sustained burns over 77% of his body and fought for his life for five weeks."

During his time in the hospital, Kairat underwent four surgeries; however, his condition remained extremely serious due to extensive burns and infections. Doctors suggested transitioning to palliative care, but his parents, not losing hope, agreed to a fifth surgery, which lasted eight hours and was successful, instilling hope for recovery.

Unfortunately, a few days later, Kairat's condition worsened, and infections reactivated. Despite the doctors' efforts, they informed the parents that his body was not coping. Ultimately, the parents made the difficult decision to discontinue treatment.

Ainur expressed gratitude on behalf of the parents and herself for all the help received during this difficult struggle - whether it was financial support, food for the family that came to the USA, or simply prayers.
