He called for illegal actions
According to information from law enforcement agencies, a citizen was detained in Bishkek in connection with a case of mass riots.
During the investigation of the criminal case initiated under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, it became known that a number of citizens organized gatherings to express protest against state policies and actively called for actions aimed at organizing mass riots.
The suspect is a 52-year-old man named J.M. His home and vehicle were searched.
During the search of the Toyota 4Runner vehicle, documents in the name of J.M., five mobile phones of various brands, a micro-SIM card, numbers from foreign countries, two notebooks with entries, a folder with 14 sheets marked "Ashara Hidast," books in Arabic, as well as two "INE" radios and other items of interest to the investigation were found and seized.
The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility. The Pervomaisky District Court ruled to keep him in custody until January 5, 2026.
