
The investigative actions were aimed at identifying violations that could create an unreasonable financial burden on the local budget. During the investigation, numerous violations related to the procurement of lighting poles for the improvement of the Chingiz Aitmatov Park were discovered.

The investigation established that employees of 'Bishkeksvet', acting in collusion with the contractor, signed a contract that was obviously unfavorable for the city, which led to the embezzlement of significant sums of money.
A criminal case was opened on this fact under Article 339 ("Conclusion of an obviously unfavorable contract") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On December 5, charges were brought against the director of the municipal enterprise 'Bishkeksvet', T.E.T., the chief engineer I.E.I., and the director of LLC 'T.S.', N.R.A. All three were detained and sent to the GKNB pre-trial detention center.
