According to the police, on January 4 at about 21:35, a report was received at the duty station of the Kadamjay District Department of Internal Affairs about a traffic accident on the Osh – Razakov highway, in the vicinity of the village of Kok-Talaa in the Maidan rural district. Preliminary information indicates that a vehicle struck a teenager, after which the driver left the scene without providing assistance.
It was later revealed that the driver is a 30-year-old resident of the village of Chechme in the Birlik rural district, known as T. Z. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
