According to the information received, the incident occurred on January 2 at 18:10. The driver of a Honda Stepwgn, traveling north on 50th Anniversary of Kyrgyzstan Street, struck a pedestrian born in 1985 and left the scene.
During operational activities, the suspect was detained — citizen A.A., also born in 1985. He has been handed over to the investigative authorities of the Moscow District Police Department, and the vehicle has been placed in a towing lot.
It was also previously reported that on the same day in Bishkek, a similar incident occurred where a driver fatally struck a pedestrian and fled the scene of the accident.
