These complexes have been implemented as part of the "Safe Country" project. The software development was carried out by IT specialists from the state institution "Kyzmat," which is subordinate to the presidential administration.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue is now under constant monitoring. The installed complexes are capable of recording the following violations:
- failure to use seat belts;
- driving in the opposite lane;
- exceeding the established speed limit;
- running a red traffic light;
- ignoring road signs and markings.
During monitoring, a violation was recorded when a BMW driver accelerated to 155 kilometers per hour. The head of the Traffic Safety and Prevention Department had a conversation with the driver and handed him a notice issued by the automatic recording system.
It was previously reported that in 2026, the installation of 306 such complexes is planned in Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, they are already operational at the intersection of Akhunbaev and Toktonaliev Streets, as well as Botaliev Street and Young Guard Boulevard.
