In the Fergana region, law enforcement agencies prevented the smuggling of potent drugs arriving from Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the operation, a local resident was detained, who was found to have nearly 3000 tablets of psychotropic substances, as reported by Podrobno.uz.

According to information from the State Security Service, the incident occurred in the city of Kokand. A Gentra vehicle, in which a citizen born in 1994 was traveling, was stopped on the street.

During the inspection, 2797 tablets of the drug "Regapen," which had been illegally imported into the country, were discovered in his personal belongings. A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee, and a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been applied.
