A citizen, A.I., reported to the police that on December 19, 2025, he was attacked by unknown individuals who threatened him with an object resembling a weapon. During the investigation, it was revealed that the incident was related to A.I.'s detention on December 6, when he voluntarily handed over potent medication tablets to the police. A criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the interrogation, A.I. mentioned that he acquired the medications from a woman named A.M., born in 1995. She was detained on December 29 and placed in a temporary detention facility.
After this, according to the investigation, her husband N.A. attempted to exert pressure on the witness by threatening him with an object resembling a firearm, demanding that he change his testimony.
A criminal case has been initiated against N.A. under Articles 280 (hooliganism) and 355 (threats or violence in connection with pre-trial proceedings) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
