The vehicle arrived at the MTO "Kant" of the Northeastern Customs from China, processed under a transit declaration in the name of V.Z.Y. During the verification of the VIN code, it was found that, according to international ISO standards and the decision of the EEC No. 74, the tenth character of the VIN (M) indicates the year of manufacture as 2021.

However, experts from the forensic examination service of the Ministry of Justice established that the actual year of manufacture of the vehicle is 2015. Thus, an incorrect year was indicated in the declaration, which in turn led to a reduction in the amounts of customs payments.
As a result, the state suffered a loss of 2 million 484 thousand 898 soms. The case has been registered in the Unified Register of Crimes, and the materials have been forwarded to the investigative department of the State Customs Service for further investigation.
After the necessary measures were taken, the loss was fully reimbursed to the republican budget.
