After receiving information about the detention of the Kyrgyz citizen, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Kuwait began active measures to clarify the circumstances and provide consular support to Jenalieva.
“Embassy staff maintained constant communication with the relatives of the detainee and provided them with detailed information through phone calls. In addition, there was continuous interaction with the Iraqi authorities until the situation was fully resolved,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
