According to representatives of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District, on the night of January 16, 2026, at 02:00, an unidentified man broke into a house on Sadyrbaev Street by forcing open the front door, taking advantage of the absence of the owners. He stole construction tools and two televisions, after which he fled the scene.
After the theft, the perpetrator called a taxi, loaded the stolen items into it, and left.
Following this incident, the investigative authorities initiated a criminal case under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of operational-search activities, a suspect was detained, identified as K.K., born in 1987. The Lenin District Court imposed a preventive measure in the form of electronic monitoring.
During the investigation, previously stolen items were recovered, as well as a bicycle, which was recognized as material evidence. Currently, the possible connection of the detainee to other similar crimes is being investigated.
The investigation is ongoing.
