A resident of the capital contacted law enforcement with a statement that unknown individuals had broken into his front door on Sadyrbaev Street on the night of January 16. Taking advantage of the fact that the owners were not home, they stole construction tools and two televisions.
According to preliminary data, after committing the crime, the suspect called a taxi, loaded the stolen property into it, and left the scene.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Operatives detained the suspect, identified as K.K., born in 1987. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of electronic monitoring (bracelet) for him.
During the investigation, stolen items were seized from the detainee, as well as a bicycle, which is now considered material evidence in the case.
Law enforcement continues to check for possible connections between the suspect and other similar crimes.
The investigation is ongoing.
