The GKNB detained the suspect
In Manas, illegal activities of a pawnshop organized by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan named "A.E.S." were uncovered, as reported by the GKNB press service.
According to the committee, the woman operated from home, creating a so-called "black pawnshop," offering loans with an interest rate exceeding 150% per annum, secured by both movable and immovable property, as well as jewelry made of precious metals.
An example of her activities was the case of a citizen "Sh.K.U.," who borrowed 1 million soms from "A.E.S." Each month, he paid her 150,000 soms solely as interest. During the repayment of the principal debt, "A.E.S." repeatedly attempted to illegally seize the property of "Sh.K.U.," threatening him and demanding early payments, resulting in the confiscation of his car.
On February 4, 2026, the woman was caught red-handed while receiving 200,000 soms as interest. During searches at her residence, technical passports for real estate, ID passports, documents of ownership for land plots, as well as pledged jewelry and other items were found.
During the investigative activities, "A.E.S." confessed to her criminal acts.
