At the session of the 2nd Western District Military Court, the prosecution requested life sentences for 15 out of 19 defendants in the case regarding the terrorist attack at "Krokus City Hall." This information was reported by participants in the proceedings, where the debates are held in a closed format.

According to media reports, the maximum punishment is being sought for most of the accused, except for the brothers Islomov and their father, who, according to the investigation, assisted the terrorists in escaping in a Renault Symbol car. Alisher Kasimov, who provided accommodation for the terrorists, also received a less severe sentence — the prosecutor requested 19 years and 11 months and 22 years and 10 months of imprisonment for him.

Additionally, the prosecution demands to strip those defendants who acquired Russian citizenship during their lives of their citizenship.

The trial, which has attracted significant public attention, began on August 4, 2025. Nineteen defendants appeared in court, of whom 13 are accused of direct involvement in the terrorist attack, while the others are charged with supporting terrorist activities, illegal handling of weapons, and training for terrorist purposes.

The investigation believes that the direct perpetrators of the attack were Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Saidakram Rachabalizoda, and Muhammadsobir Faizov, some of whom have admitted their guilt.

During the investigation, it was established that about 70 of the 149 victims of the terrorist attack died as a result of the fire, without having gunshot or other injuries. The main causes of death were thermal inhalation injury and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Recall that the terrorist attack occurred on March 22, 2024, at the "Krokus City Hall" in the Moscow region, where thousands of people had gathered for a concert. Four terrorists — Muhammadsobir Faizov, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Shamsidin Fariduni, and Saidakram Rachabalizoda — stormed the building around 19:00 and opened fire and set a fire, resulting in the deaths of 145 people.

The criminals were detained in the Bryansk region, 100 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. They have been charged with committing a terrorist act, which could result in a sentence ranging from 25 years to life imprisonment.

The "Islamic State" group claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack. Subsequently, the FSB detained 11 people, most of whom were citizens of Tajikistan.
