Debt for a resident of Chui region ended with a kidnapping

According to information provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region, on February 16, suspects in a kidnapping were arrested.

A 20-year-old resident of the Chui District reported the incident to the local police station. The young man stated that on February 13, around 4:00 PM, an acquaintance, along with several friends, forcibly shoved him into a car and then took him to the village of Ak-Beshim, where he was beaten.

This incident was classified under Article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Kidnapping").

The law enforcement authorities detained three suspects: M.B., T.D., and J.A., all born in 2007. They were placed in a temporary detention facility.

The investigation suggests that the motive for the kidnapping was hostile relations arising from debt obligations.
