Madirov noted that their service can only conduct planned inspections of working conditions. At each construction site, from the moment the foundation is laid until the completion of work, there is an inspection from the Ministry of Construction, which is responsible for monitoring compliance with safety regulations.
"Unfortunately, our intervention only happens after a tragedy has already occurred," the deputy head of the agency added.
Additionally, he pointed out that despite existing limitations, at the beginning of the year, the service sends out directives and reminders to construction companies, emphasizing the need to adhere to safety standards in the workplace.
