Arstanbekova was detained on March 11, when, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, she used a fake Facebook account under the name "Daniel Jooshbaev." The investigation claims that through this profile, publications were disseminated that discredited the authority of Kyrgyzstan and exacerbated the socio-political situation in the country.
On March 10, a search was conducted at her home, during which mobile phones, tablets, laptops, a video camera, documents, and other items significant to the investigation were seized.
