The employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported the detention of the organizer of an illegal migration scheme, a citizen of Pakistan, A.M., as well as a medical worker from the National Hospital, I.T.V.
According to the agency's information, the detainees developed a scheme for forging medical certificates of form No. 086, which were necessary for foreign citizens to extend their stay in the country. These documents were issued without the actual completion of a medical examination.
A.M. was engaged in selling ready-made certificates to foreigners, mainly of Pakistani and Bengali nationalities, while I.T.V. assisted in this activity.
During searches at the residences and workplaces of the detainees, more than 160 fake medical certificates were seized, which were used for visa processing.
The SCNS emphasized that in the context of the Nipah virus outbreak in South Asia, such violations pose a threat to sanitary and epidemiological safety and can be considered a risk to national security.
The agency also urged foreigners to respect the laws of Kyrgyzstan. Currently, operational activities are ongoing to identify other participants in this scheme.
