According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, during the monitoring of social networks, an account under the name "Aza Asanbekov" was discovered, which published materials from the website Turkiston.kg — a resource associated with the banned organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir." A linguistic examination confirmed that the content disseminated through this account is of an extremist nature.
A criminal case has been initiated in accordance with Article 332 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for the production and distribution of extremist materials. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and investigative authorities continue to check for possible accomplices.
