As a result of operational activities conducted in the Kadamjai district, a batch of rice weighing approximately 6-7 tons was detained. This rice was imported from Uzbekistan.
According to information, an organized criminal group has been operating in the Kadamjai district for a long time, consisting of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
This group was engaged in smuggling various goods, ignoring laws regarding customs, taxes, and borders, along the route "Fergana-Chon-Kara-Kadamjai".
Group members purchased rice in large quantities in Uzbekistan.
According to a pre-developed plan, these batches of rice were then delivered to the enclave "Chon-Kara" through the Kadamjai district. After that, the goods were illegally exported from the enclave and unloaded in the Kadamjai district with a citizen of Kyrgyzstan in the "Ak-Turpak" area. The rice was then sold in the markets of Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, one of the participants in the smuggling is under investigation — a citizen of Kyrgyzstan named "M.N.A".
