Kyrgyz citizens in the Philippines were not affected by typhoon "Fung-Wong" - Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that as a result of the typhoon "Fung-Wong" strike in the Philippines, Kyrgyz citizens have not been harmed. As of November 10, according to the competent authorities of the country, there have been no reported cases of death or injury among citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In response to the natural disaster, all institutions in the Philippines are in a state of full readiness to assist those affected. As part of these efforts, the Philippine Red Cross has opened 435 evacuation centers in 22 branches.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges citizens of Kyrgyzstan to remain vigilant and follow the instructions of local authorities in light of worsening weather conditions.
