Kyrgyz artist Bakr, who arrived in Moscow for concert performances, was detained at Sheremetyevo Airport on the morning of November 17. He himself reported this to his followers on social media.

“I passed passport control, but my team was allowed through while I was detained. They took my documents without explanation and held me at the airport for about three hours. Then I was presented with a ban on entry to Russia, also without any explanations. I was placed in a waiting room, and I had to buy a ticket for a return flight to Bishkek. In the end, I spent from 10 AM to 9 PM at the airport,” he shared his experiences.

Upon returning to Bishkek, Bakr received a notification of a ban on entry to the Russian Federation with the wording “entry to the Russian Federation is not permitted.”

Currently, the singer and his team are working with lawyers and preparing a lawsuit.
