The government of Kyrgyzstan has updated the provisions regarding the register of conscientious entrepreneurs. The aim of these changes is to enhance the level of transparency and trust in the business environment.

Now, the authorized body for entrepreneurship development will oversee the creation and maintenance of an electronic register, which will be valid for three years from the date of entry.

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be able to apply for inclusion in the register if they meet the new criteria for conscientiousness. These include the absence of tax and customs payment debts, arrears in social contributions, and the payment of wages not lower than the regional average.

In addition, the list of documents required for application has been expanded. Besides registration data, entrepreneurs are required to provide information about their employees, taxes for the last three years, and a certificate about the manager.

One of the key innovations is the possibility of using the "Ak niyet ishker" label on products and in advertising materials. Also, conscientious entrepreneurs will receive the right to one free broadcast on state television as part of an agreed media plan.

Furthermore, entrepreneurs will need to notify about any changes in their activities or the absence thereof annually by January 30.

The new rules will come into effect in two weeks.
