The visit of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Bakyt Torobaev, to the BIOJEM enterprise in the village of Petrovka, Chui region, took place to familiarize himself with the production of professional feed for freshwater aquaculture.
According to the department, BIOJEM is a national producer that uses modern extrusion technologies and carries out a full production cycle—from raw material reception to finished product packaging. The plant is capable of producing up to 35,000 tons of feed per year.
The main characteristics of the enterprise include:
- automated extrusion line and vacuum oil spraying technologies;
- recipes adapted for various species of freshwater fish;
- comprehensive quality control at all stages;
- modern laboratory;
- technological support from specialists from Europe and Asia.
Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that an important condition for the development of aquaculture in Kyrgyzstan is the support of domestic production.
“One of our main tasks is to ensure the domestic market with quality feed and develop export potential in the field of aquaculture,” the minister added.
The BIOJEM company confirmed its readiness to continue supplying effective feed for the country's fish farming enterprises that meet international standards.
