It is proposed to use the following signal colors: red and blue for:
- internal affairs agencies;
- state protection of national security agencies;
- military automotive inspection.
Blue color is planned for:
- emergency services;
- ambulance medical vehicles;
- cash transportation and transportation of valuable cargo;
- escort service;
- transport inspection.
Yellow or orange colors will be used for:
- communal-technical, construction, road services, and services for monitoring landscaping;
- agricultural transport and self-propelled machines;
- transportation of hazardous and oversized cargo.
The decision to install flashing beacons will be made by the authorized body for ensuring road safety, after which the relevant changes will be made to the registration documents.
Vehicles with yellow or orange flashing beacons do not have priority on the road compared to other vehicles.
The document also describes the procedure for using special sound and light signals, which should be activated as necessary during the performance of official duties.
Special sound signals are activated depending on the situation and should only be turned on when the light signal is operational to attract the attention of drivers.
Drivers of specialized vehicles are required to choose a speed that ensures the safety of all road users, taking into account traffic intensity and road conditions.
When crossing intersections, overtaking other vehicles, including in oncoming lanes, the activation of sound signals should be done in advance depending on the road situation.
During the movement of columns of service vehicles or their escort, the special sound signal can only be activated by the driver of the vehicle overseeing the column.
The signal beacon must be installed on the roof of the vehicle or slightly above it.
Unauthorized installation of special sound and light signals without the permission of the State Traffic Safety Department will result in administrative measures in accordance with the Code of Offenses.
