
Illegal constructions are being dismantled along the banks of rivers and canals
In Bishkek, according to information from the city hall, 107 thousand tons of garbage have been removed from the Ala-Archa and Alamedin rivers. This work was carried out as part of the first phase of landscaping.
In addition to waste removal, bank reinforcement works are being conducted, which require significant preparation and time.
Illegal structures located along the rivers and canals are also being actively dismantled. To date, about 300 buildings have been demolished.
At the same time, the main department of urban planning and architecture of the capital is working on projects for the improvement of areas adjacent to the rivers and canals.
