Kainarbek Kuluyev, a representative of the International Association of Builders, expressed his opinion on the presence of corruption risks in the process of inspecting construction sites. He noted that inspecting authorities often apply a selective approach.

During a round table dedicated to issues and the future of the construction industry, Kuluyev reported that since the beginning of the current year, over 2000 administrative protocols have been drawn up in the country for various violations in construction.

According to him, there is a lack of a systematic approach to conducting inspections. Developers need to obtain approval for violations at certain stages, which, in the expert's opinion, creates additional opportunities for corruption.

Kuluyev also added that many issues are resolved only after the intervention of high-ranking officials, which highlights the shortcomings of the existing control system.

He clarified that the main problem lies not in the inspection procedure itself, but in the opacity of the current rules, which increases the risks of corruption.
