Veteran of the National Security Agencies Joeomart Boshkoev Has Passed Away

With deep regret, the leadership and the Veterans Council of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan announce the untimely loss of Major General Joomart Terbishalievich Boshkoev, who passed away on December 18.

Joormart Boshkoev was born on November 19, 1949, in Talas, located in the Talas region. In 1970, he graduated from the Tashkent Higher Combined Arms Command School named after V.I. Lenin.

From 1981 to 1998, he served in the national security agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, holding various leadership positions. An important stage of his career was leading the State Guard Service, where he became the founder of modern security measures for the top officials of the state and key facilities of the country.

After retiring, Boshkoev actively continued his public activities, heading the "Veterans Council of the State Guard." He paid special attention to supporting veterans of the law enforcement agencies and educating the youth in the spirit of officer honor and professionalism.

For his outstanding achievements in service and significant contributions to strengthening the security of the state, Major General Boshkoev was awarded numerous state awards, medals, and certificates of honor. His name will remain in the history of the formation and development of the law enforcement agencies of independent Kyrgyzstan.

The leadership and staff of the GKNB of Kyrgyzstan express their sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. The memory of Joomart Terbishalievich Boshkoev will always live in the hearts of his colleagues, friends, and students.
