This boiler house was put into operation in 1974 and is under the management of the Municipal Enterprise 'Bishkekteploenergo'. Currently, it is undergoing phased reconstruction, aimed at reducing technical losses, increasing the reliability of heating supply, and decreasing costs for thermal energy. Previously, the level of technical losses reached 50 percent.
The total cost of the reconstruction project is approximately 206 million soms, of which 200 million were allocated from the Stabilization Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the first phase, the modernized boiler house will provide heating and hot water to 13,000 subscribers.
In addition, the boilers were installed by specialists from 'Bishkekteploenergo'.
As part of the first phase, the installation of six gas boilers, each with a capacity of 10 megawatts, has been completed. After their launch, the cost of thermal energy will decrease from 6,679.78 to approximately 5,500 soms per gigacalorie, and with the connection of new subscribers, it will drop to 5,000 soms per gigacalorie.

The second phase of the project includes the installation of additional boilers and the expansion of heating networks, while the third phase involves the construction of a cogeneration plant with a capacity of 100 megawatts and a substation at 110 kilowatts.
