He suggested temporarily suspending these projects, pointing out that many existing facilities are not functioning and are simply vacant. Japarov emphasized that maintaining such institutions requires significant resources. As an illustration, he mentioned the cultural house in his native village.
“No one uses this house. Only occasionally do artists come for concerts,” noted the head of state.
In his opinion, it would be more reasonable to focus on the construction or renovation of cultural houses in the districts, as well as on the construction of modern assembly halls in educational institutions, which is more relevant.
“I say this to prevent possible misunderstandings. Conversations will start: ‘Oh, they are asking, let’s build a cultural house.’ State construction should not be wasteful,” emphasized Japarov.
