At the IV People's Kurultai, President Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of a healthy, active, and capable population for the successful implementation of the National Development Program until 2030.

“The quality of life begins with health,” he noted in his speech.

In the coming years, Kyrgyzstan is set to undergo significant updates to its medical infrastructure. New polyclinics, feldsher-obstetric points, and hospitals are planned, along with the modernization of existing healthcare facilities using modern equipment. Additionally, the digitization of medical work will be expanded, and a comprehensive electronic healthcare system will be created.

A modern medical city with over 5,000 beds will be established in the capital, Bishkek — this will become the largest project in the country's history. Modern perinatal centers will also be opened in various regions of the republic, such as Osh, Talas, and Manas. More than 1,000 rural outpatient clinics and 27 primary healthcare centers will receive new equipment.

The head of state also emphasized that infrastructure development is just one aspect of the reforms. Significant attention will be paid to fostering a culture of health: disease prevention, early detection of illnesses, vaccination, infection control, as well as maternal and child health protection.

“We are creating a system that will protect every citizen, from newborns to the elderly, and ensure a high quality of life for the entire population,” added Sadyr Japarov.
