On January 14 in Bishkek, the Lenin District Administration, together with the Land Use Control Department, began demolishing unauthorized buildings. Police officers are present at the demolition sites to maintain public order and prevent possible conflicts.

According to the administration, the work is being carried out in contour No. 107 in the territory of MTU No. 10, as well as in the residential areas of "Ak-Ordo" and "Orok." The focus is mainly on buildings constructed without the necessary permits from 2021 to the end of 2025.

Additionally, the demolition has affected two illegal structures in contour No. 67 on State Fund lands, as well as permanent fences on five plots in contour No. 516 of MTU No. 109.

Some owners of illegally constructed houses have provided written commitments for voluntary demolition of the buildings by January 31, which has led to a temporary suspension of work on certain sites.

The Lenin District Administration noted that owners of illegal structures in MTU No. 109, 106, and 107 have repeatedly received official notifications demanding voluntary demolition and restoration of the land plots. Efforts have also been made to inform residents about the situation.
