At the public discussion of the general plan held on December 24, Bishkek resident Askhat Kemelbekov spoke about the difficult situation of around 300 families who cannot determine the fate of the plots in contour No. 307, located near "Kalyis-Ordo."

He noted that this concerns 29 hectares of agricultural land.

According to him, these lands were illegally divided into plots of 4 hundredths and sold to people with promises of their transformation for construction purposes. However, when they approached the relevant authorities, they learned that this territory could not be transformed, and those who sold the plots should be held accountable. "What is our fate? More than 300 families cannot build houses, and the land is registered to one person who sold it off," added Kemelbekov.

He also reported that many plot owners have not started construction, waiting for the necessary permits. Attempts to begin construction in 2023 ended with the demolition of structures deemed illegal.

Kemelbekov expressed dissatisfaction that at the akimat he was told that they were to blame for purchasing such plots, and that holding the guilty party accountable was pointless since he could not return the money.

He appealed to the city administration to consider the possibility of transforming this land and including the construction of residential houses in the general plan. In response, Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov stated that residents could contact the city administration for further consideration of this issue.
