Bishkek Resident: Our Property is Marked as State Property in the Master Plan. What is This?

At the public discussion, Roza Bekhtashova, one of the residents of the area, expressed her concern about the plot being marked in red, which usually indicates land owned by the state. She emphasized that local residents are extremely worried about the fate of their property.

“Our plots are marked in red. This color is for state property, but in reality, this is private property, and we have been living here for over 30 years. Why are our homes painted red? We demand that the plot be marked in yellow - the color of private property,” she stated.

In response to these remarks, Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov promised that citizens' comments would be taken into account and necessary changes would be made to the master plan.
