In the Leilek district, two individuals voluntarily decided to hand over firearms to the local law enforcement authorities, as reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of the Batken region.

According to the information, from January 13 to 26, the Leilek District Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a preventive campaign called "Arsenal," aimed at maintaining public order and ensuring safety.

During this campaign, citizens handed over two smoothbore firearms without the necessary documents, as well as four gas-traumatic pistols and 43 cartridges. Additionally, one citizen who violated the rules for storing firearms was fined 3,000 soms.
