Information about the distribution of drugs in the October District was received by law enforcement agencies on December 31, 2025, which served as the basis for initiating a preliminary investigation.
Officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who are engaged in combating illegal drug trafficking, detained two young men: A.N. and A.Y., both born in 2006. During the detention, the young men voluntarily handed over 36 packages wrapped in black tape, containing narcotic substances.
A criminal case was initiated in connection with this incident under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
The detainees were placed in a temporary detention facility, and an investigation is currently underway.
