A case of mass poisoning has been registered in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Health confirmed the information received by the editorial office of Kaktus.media.

“This morning, the first child with symptoms of poisoning was admitted to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (RKIB), and then, after lunch, another child. By evening, the number of affected individuals had risen to 17. Four patients were transferred for outpatient treatment, while the remaining 13 were hospitalized. Among those hospitalized, four are children, and the rest are adults. The condition of all is stable, they are receiving the necessary treatment, tests have been conducted, and an epidemiological investigation is ongoing,” the ministry reported.

According to preliminary data, all those affected consumed shawarma at a fast food establishment called Daamduu.

It should be noted that this is not the first case of mass poisoning in the country. In June of last year, a similar situation occurred when 20 people sought medical attention.
